A Very Good And Blessed Day To You!

I am happy that you have joined me and I hope that you will follow me in my miraculous  journey.

My daily walk IS of faith.

Since birth there have been many troubled waters that I had to cross in order to survive and thrive. My best friend came along and walked right alongside of me. Jesus never left my side. He carried me when I was too weak. He held me in His arms when I needed His tender touch. He captured every tear drop. He counseled me when I was heading in the wrong direction. And in my early adult life, He gently chiseled away the hard crust that had surrounded my heart. Today, Jesus continues to meet me daily as I recover from what I call “my terribles.” They are of traumatic brain injuries in my years, and multiple emotional wounds that I suffered through my teen years that still burden me today.

As a child I found that I could relate to a character in a black and white movie. Her name is Susan. In 1947’s Miracle On 34th Street, Susan helped me find my hope. Susan was under the impression that she needed to be all grown up in a little girl’s body. She did not comprehend the wonder of childhood imagination. But through relationship with Kris Kringle and her mother’s realization that faith is good to live in, Susan was not disappointed as she had thought that she would be when finally….she saw her dream realized right before her eyes.

Disappointment and pain will not follow me all of my days. I live these words that Susan spoke at the end of the movie. They are my words every day!

“I believe….I believe….It’s silly…BUT….I believe.”
